Moa Romanova was born in 1992 in Kramfors in the north of Sweden and now lives in Stockholm. he studied classical painting at the University of Fine Arts in Gothenburg and completed a training program at the Comic Art School in Malmö. Romanova was a painter while she maintained a famous blog Monkinodraw before dedicating herself entirely to writing comic books. Her works have been printed in renowned magazines Dagens Nyheter, Vice, Bang and Galago. “Goblin Girl” is her first graphic novel which was awarded the Eisner Award in 2021. It has been published in more than ten languages.
