Klaus Detlef Olof

Klaus Detlef Olof, who previously worked as a Slavic scholar at the universities of Klagenfurt and Graz, has also made a name for himself as a translator of South Slavic literature. He has translated France Prešeren, Miroslav Krleža, Drago Jančar, Zoran Ferić, Goran Vojnović and many others. He was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Literary Translation in 1991.
